JUST A SNAP OF WHAT PEOPLE ARE ATTEMPTING TO SHOW LIVE VIDEO OF…..
Here is what I wanted to say but didn’t have time to write. So all the credit goes to the gang at fcp.co. I couldn’t have said it better myself…visit their site!
The following article can be found at this link “Aiming to be the number one Final Cut resource on the net” :

Standby for the biggest day in video editing since Apple launched Final Cut Pro X
We’re not really the site for rumours, but we can’t not mention that this Monday at the World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco everybody is expecting new hardware. And yes that means new Mac Pros. (Hopefully!)
WWDC was traditionally the launching place for the big Apple hardware, but in the last few years the iOS side of business has dominated the gathering of geeks & programmers atMoscone West. No secret that iOS 6 seems ready for launch at the conference, but we’re more interested in the hardware.
The MacPro hasn’t had a refresh for two years and this has again spawned the fashionable trend of linkbaited blogs and tweets suggesting Apple has abandoned the pro user. On the plus side, you might have caught the Facebook petition titled ‘We Want a New MacPro’ that currently stands at rather a miserable 17,000 likes, but it does show the demand for a tower, not a beefy iMac.
Maybe it is a credit to the Mac Pro design that the form factor has lasted the years. What’s not so clever is the fact that it’s the only Mac that Apple sells at the moment that hasn’t got a Thunderbolt port.
So will we see new Mac Pros announced at the WWDC? We have no inside knowledge, but what swung it for us was retail model numbers appearing on the internet. If past history repeats itself, these are fairly firm indicators of what’s going to be in the stores very soon. A detailed rundown on what’s expected to be announced can be found on 9to5Mac.
So back to the title of the article. We are desperate to see how a new Mac Pro will handle Final Cut Pro X. New processors, new graphics cards, Mountain Lion and a bucket of RAM should hopefully turbocharge FCPX into something Hamilton-esq. We have also heard on more than one occasion in the last week a request for multiple Thunderbolt ports. This would be especially significant as a lot of manufacturers seem to be making end of chain devices. We haven’t forgotten that XSan has been built into the OS either.
So standby for a busy news day, the event kicks off at 10AM PT and although there’s no live video coverage, there will be more than one live blog and twitter stream from the big hall in San Francisco. We will of course publish what information we can from the official Apple press release when we get it.
We will leave you with one final thought. If there is to be a completely new Mac Pro, would it be the first Mac to solely use AV Foundation? If so, where would that leave FCP7?

Only because I’m a recent Apple freak especially when it comes to video editing and photography, I’ve included the following article. But for real up to date and important announcements from WWDC 2012 make sure and look at www.techedon.com

“What to expect from Apple’s WWDC event

Apple CEO Tim Cook may roll out a new line of Macs when Apple’s developers conferences begins Monday.
Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, the annual gathering where the secretive company hosts folks who make a living writing software for its products, kicks off Monday.
And while the event is designed around presentations to help developers, its keynote address has also become an opportunity for Apple to roll out new products not just to developers, but to the world.
Two iPhones and several Macs have had their coming-out parties at WWDC, along with a host of operating-system overhauls.
Which raises the obvious question: What will Apple announce on Monday?”
“The lighthearted, the enthusiastic, the marvelous, the proud, and exuberant couple was a refreshing aide-mémoire of what it is to shoot with panache, on the exotic island of Corfu situated in the Ionian sea of Greece.”
Trailer coming shortly
So, I have fifteen minutes for my render to complete. This week I finished up four Greek Orthodox baptisms and one Greek Orthodox wedding. The wedding is the render I’m waiting for.
As I have not planned this blog post, consider it a brainstorming session on what ever topic comes to mind. Of course I’ll try to stay on the “road” should I veer off holler.
I think tomorrow or the day after the second “Cook” keynotes begin, with what I’m assuming will put me behind another rock after it is all said and done with. At the moment I have the best iMac money can buy, after the Apple conference that won’t be true. I have this techie, gadgety, possible scrupulous addiction with buying new toys. What am I to do when there are better and faster machines out there. I know, there will always be. The issue is that I create excuses, where this technology and that technology will make my work easier and more efficient. That can’t be argued.
The bottom line and the solution to my above dilemma is finance. Should I continue to book high end clients then I will be able to afford all the toys in the world, that will ultimately benefit not only me but my clientele first and for most

(Just checked and it says 96 seconds, so if I abruptly and rudely end this blog post it wil……………………….
Whoever knows what J-K-L is knows what it is like to have those keys on your keyboard blackened. This amount of editing has been a wealth of experience for me. However, it is a vast realm and there is so much more to be learned, as in any discipline, assuming one is interested of course.
I recently shot a wedding for a wonderful, friendly and loving couple from overseas. They managed to bring most of their family with them to celebrate this glorious event. I saw in all their faces and reactions the wonder and awe they felt when simply looking at the beach. A site I have come to take for granted on a daily basis.
So we must all remember and appreciate what we have and make and effort to reset out relative perspective for what we currently hold in our possession. Even the clean air we breathe. Greece is a wonderful land, a clean environment, an inspirational surrounding, and much more. It is in the hands of every individual to cultivate, maintain and realize what they have at hand and what it means to have that.
So, just to keep things in context, Corfu is a wonderful place to shoot a wedding video.
“There is something terribly morbid in the modern sympathy with pain. One should sympathise with the colour, the beauty, the joy of life. The less said about life’s sores the better.”
Oscar Wilde
Sometimes you just have to mess around. Here see a short video montage of a bit of experimentation with my brand new GoPro Hero 2 on a styrofoam RC plane.
We were located on the nether part of Corfu island. I guess you could call it the country side.
Next attempt is over water.
